In honor of the artist Li Lei, the Elisabeth de Brabant Art Center hosted two private art dinners at the art center to open the artist's solo exhibition. Chef David Laris created specially tailored meals for both evenings inspired by the works of Li Lei. Continue reading to see more images from the evening.

For the first time ever, French luxury brand Lancel and Paris’ infamous Harcourt Studio presented a series of portraits and collection of vintage handbags in Shanghai, China at the Art Center. Previously unseen in Asia, the exhibit is a collaboration between two of the most renowned names in French culture; bringing luxury and art together in a series of beautifully shot portraits of Lancel’s vintage bag collection.
The exhibition was previously presented in Paris at Lancel’s flagship boutique at the historical Opera. Marc Lelandais CEO of Lancel and Francis Dagnan, President of the Harcourt Studio were pleased to announce the beginning of the partnership between the two houses.

Perception is paramount in the dialogue created by Xiao Hui Wang in the "Erotic Flowers" series. These images at first alarm and provoke. They are not what they seem. Distortion plays in the eye of the viewer.
In the spirit of the Holidays we will be hosting Christmas gatherings on December 17th to 19th from 2pm until 6pm at the Art Center. We look forward to seeing you for some Christmas Cheer.

The Art Center will host an afternoon discussion with Caitlin Reilly. The artist will discuss the inspirations for her work and the collection of experiences, which have informed her works. The afternoon will be conducted salon-style and allow the audience to comment on the artist’s works, engage in conversation with the artist, and freely ask questions.
The discussion will be in English only.

The Art Center hosted a candlelit dinner with artist Leng Hong to give the artist an opportunity to introduce his works to collectors and art connoisseurs. Renown restaurateur David Laris created a special menu for the evening to complement the works of Leng Hong, which are largely inspired by scenes from the Song and Tang dynasty.
